Watch Kathy Today on Wheel of Fortune

My wife, Kathy, and I flew out to Los Angeles in September so that she could tape an episode of Wheel of Fortune. The show will finally air tonight (check your local listings for time).

They also asked Kathy to write a contestant blog, which was posted on Monday, with a follow-up posting to appear after her show airs.

Here are some links that talk about her being on the show:

I am happy that she had her dream come true. She has certainly been a fan of the show for a while and stayed focused on her goal of being on it. I didn't realize that's what the auditioning process was like. Imagine, they chose her over all of the others that were competing that time.

I guess in all the excitement the basset hound was the easiest thing to talk about, but that probably made her stand out too. It probably helped her win her spot. They also look for people who are engaging and who the audience can identify with, in my opinion.

I'm sure she's a local celebrity now, especially among the Wheel fans.
